Oliver’s professional experience spans Europe and North America. While at a Hungarian law firm, he served as Foreign Legal Counsel, representing foreign interests in Hungary and Europe and working closely with foreign governments. Prior to this, Oliver worked in a Global Trade & Investment Practice Group at a Washington DC K Street law firm where he assisted clients with current and upcoming economic sanctions and export controls concerns, anti-money laundering concerns, international trade policy, and negotiations concerns and handled matters involving the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS). 

At the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, Oliver established the largest international network of attorneys to assist Ukrainian refugees, demonstrating his commitment to having a global impact. In 2023, Oliver was recognized as one of Hungary’s Top 50 Legal Executives for his work in international law coordination. 

Oliver Koppany pursued a double major in entrepreneurship and finance at Suffolk University in Boston, MA. Subsequently, he completed his Juris Doctorate at the American University Washington College of Law in Washington, D.C. Before law school, Oliver worked as a Conflicts Analyst, where he investigated and analyzed potential conflicts of interest to ensure ethical compliance, avoid legal issues, and advised on resolution strategies.
